The Lift Learning Institute demonstrating emerging concepts in disability-life dynamics.

Lift Learning Institute purposes to impact the family break-up rate by influencing and empowering the disability family, professionals, and faith leaders through a media enhanced learning.

Through the generosity of its strategic partners Lift Disability Network has developed a series of learning modules that comprise Lift Learning Institute. Each module is designed to meet one of two major objectives:

To educate the family regarding disability dynamics that impacts the family unit. Additionally, families will be educated about available social services and how to better access and advocate for services. It is important that training not just be informative, but that it allows the family to explore the full impact of disability and capture an emotional real-life application of hope and future.

To educate others about the disability community and the amazing families at the core of that community. Lift Learning Institute provides a better understanding of the disability culture through practical insight that will increase marketability to this community, but more importantly will give a compassionate perspective that will equip better partners.
