Achieving
the goal of Elevating Life in the Disability Family…
By
asking; ‘does it connect? does it educate? does
it communicate?’
Connecting
In
every great story there are major elements that must be present.
Two of these ingredients are a main character and a villain.
The lead character is the one who is in pursuit of a mission;
win over a heart, live a dream, or save the world. Usually
this character finds the favor of the audience and is cheered
on by everyone.
The
villain is the element everyone opposes. It is that part of
the story that counters the lead character in their pursuit
of achieving an ultimate goal.
For
the disability family, isolation is a major
villain in the plot of the family to capture a ‘better
life.’ That is why Lift Disability Network has purposed
itself “to lead in connecting the disability
community.”
